A Wedding Outfit

Wedding Outfit

by sensibleheart

I have a wedding to attend in May that I'm really excited about! My boyfriend's best friend is getting married, and he's going to be his best man. Now I feel like there's lots of pressure to look extra nice! I absolutely love dressing up for special occaisions, but I'm struggling to decide what to wear as the weather is so questionable lately. Starting to think it will never be warm ever again.

I'm also on a bit of a budget, ideally I'd be splashing out on a brand new dress, but I'm trying to avoid that. This outfit I've put together with an existing dress and new accessories. Generally I am a bit rubbish at accessorising, not sure if the cardigan makes it a bit too casual either? Hmm.

I have just over a month, and I must resist buying a new dress!

I'm back..!

I haven't updated this blog in nearly a year! It's a shame really, because I used to love sharing things and writing up posts. I think Tumblr took over a little bit, but it's not quite the same. I also don't seem to have a lot of time, but I'm hoping that having updated my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2! New best friend.) will help with that. I've downloaded the Blogger app, so I'll see how it goes!

I signed up for a Graze box this week! My brother had a code to get the first one free, but this is something I've been meaning to check out for a while. Working in a food store, my eating habits have gotten really bad. Like.. I get hungry on my breaks but healthy choices are a bit limited. My options start and end with fruit. I also tend to buy loads of rubbish because I convince myself I'm hungry enough to eat it all, tut tut.

Anyway.. In an attempt to be a little healthier and save some pennies, I thought it might be nice to try Graze boxes. How it basically works is, there are 100 different snack foods (ranging from breads to fruit and nut mixes) you sign up, and they send you a box of 4 by post. There's a rating system so you can 'bin' foods you dont like and 'love' things that you'd like to have again. Have a browse of the website to get a better idea!

Mine arrived today, and although I don't plan to start eating them yet (got to finish my junk food weekend!) all the foods look super yummy :)

The cute little box.

A welcome booklet inside giving some info about the company, etc.

This I think is particularly good! All the nutritional info about the food in your box.

And my goodies!

I have the apple and cinnamon flapjacks, Mississippi BBQ pistachios, salsa mexicanos, and pear tatin. Can't wait to try everything! I have a feeling I may become addicted...

If you live in the UK and would like to try it, this is my code for a free box: NFJJF2DD

Little Black Dress

Recently I've realised my wardrobe is lacking something. Somehow I do not own a nice plain black dress..! I'm really fussy when it comes to styles and I guess I've never specifically looked for one. Something cute and covered in polka dots usually catches my eye.

Having a browse online this is what I've found so far:

Matalan Peplum Dress - £28 - New Look Bow Dress - £26.99 - River Island Shirt Dress - £30

I also really love 40's and 50's inspired dresses, like a few I've seen on the Collectif website. Which style to go for though? Hmm...

Dolores Doll Dress £50 - Regina Doll Dress £55 - Regina Dress £50 - Dolores Dress £45

I've just made some extra money selling lots of my old dresses on Ebay so maybe I'll treat myself to a couple of new ones.. :)

Starting Again

Attempting to start up this blog again now I have my camera working, and more motivation!
